According to previously published research studies, we know that a majority of the world's population has or will have low back or neck pain during their lifetime. And we are not always sure of what the cause is, however we believe our discs play a viable role. It dehydrates over time and is unable to regenerate, therefore we previously thought it to be more of a concern in the over 50-year-old population.
However, this quadruple-blind study shows us that 12% of people under the age of 50 have disc desiccation (dehydration) due to low impact injuries.

DownloadOver years and sometimes decades, we often see spinal discs dehydrate and/or bulge, herniate or rupture.
Here we have provided a simple visual and quick explanation of the four stages of degenerative disc disease.
Please keep in mind that our imaging resources are able to find a disc injury when it is in only Grade 2.
As a continuation of the previous study above, this paper discusses how the research was conducted using the quadruple-blind methodology customized and computerized by Burgio Enterprises.
It provides details regarding the Universal Research Methodology (TM) method and software.
Building on the two previous studies, Burgio compares the results of the quadruple-blind disc desiccation study to the estimated double-blind study results with the same participants.
This published paper puts a special focus on the United States active military with regards to their increased risk for musculoskeletal injuries (that would likely lead to disc desiccation), increased incidence of spinal pain, evacuations and medical discharges as well as the cost for pain medications, present or future spinal surgeries and their low (25%) success rate.

What do we do with all of this information and research? How can we minimize disc desiccation and therefore also reduce the risk of disc disease?
Dr. Burgio and his team have developed a permanent organic biological adhesive that can be injected into and will fix an injured disc within minutes, without anesthesia, without hospitalization and without pain medication.
Too good to be true? Please read Dr. Burgio's procedure and concepts in the paper below for more details.

Dr. Burgio worked and researched alongside Dr. DeBakey, a renounced cardiac surgeon, for years while they set out to reduce the number of post-operative coding in heart surgery patients. Dr. Burgio's contributions included developing a safer and more effective method of restarting the heart after open heart surgery.
The details of Dr. Burgio's process and procedure are in the paper below.
